The Institute for Dialectical metaRealism™, a neo–Marxian think tank, is the theoretical, research, and writing agency of The MarkFoster.NETwork™. Substantively, the institute focuses upon: clinical sociology (with public sociologists as public intellectuals), advocacy journalism, history, and religious studies, including the Baháʾí Faith, Sufism, Pentecostalism, and the sociology of language and religion. The concrete utopian Dialectical metaRealism™ (DmR™) is a tributary of the left–Shachtmanite current of third–camp socialism. In DmR, Roy Bhaskar’s critical realism is eclectically juxtaposed with intersectional Marxism, Antifa, and socialism from below.

Bhaskarian critical realism operates as the hub of the libertarian Marxist communist movement of DmR. Furthermore, this writer’s dialectical unity turn might be analogous to the late Roy Bhaskar’s (1944–2014) spiritual turn. Our ontology is the realist Unicentric Paradigm™ or Echoes of Cosmic Unity™. A multi–layered enfoldment of eternal, unknowable unities (not consciousness) approximates Bhaskar’s nonduality in his philosophy of metaReality. By emancipatory agency, the stuff of nonduality—virtues or unities—is acquired. Individual comrades can engage with partisan politics. Fallibilist epistemologies, implemented as methodologies, are relative to capacities. One DmR methodology—as a qualitative human science of phenomenological analysis—is Heartfulness Inquiry™ or The Echoing Practice™. It resembles heuristic, individual lived, integral, mindful, intuitive, integrated, organic, and phenomenological inquiries with autoethnography and participant observation (ethnography) among others. DmR, a tendency without borders, is substantially aligned with the perspectives of Solidarity (U.S.) and Workers’ Liberty (UK and Australia).
